The M/1 Retro brings back the previously available black-box-style M/1 holiday detector; see product image.

The M/1 Retro is for the inspection of thin film coatings (0 to 20 mils). The M/1 Retro uses a 9v battery which can be replaced without opening the instrument case. With on-board calibration verification, the M/1 Retro can be checked in the field with no other test apparatus needed. An LED lights on the front panel when the unit is in calibration and when a holiday is detected. The M/1 Retro comes completely ready to go to work right out of the box. Headphones (sold separately) may be used in noisy environments that drown out the normal audio signal.
