About the Megger DET4TCR2 Earth Tester

Powerful, portable and always reliable, Megger's DET4TCR2 is the tester you need for testing ground current, earth resistance and soil resistivity in a wide variety of applications.

IP54 rated, the DET4TCR2 is fully suitable for use in outdoor conditions. With variable frequency 2 pole, 3 pole, 4 pole, attached rod technique (ART), stakless, leakage current and ground noise voltage measurements available, this tester is a comprehensive solution for ground system testing.

This tester works seamlessly with Megger's ICLAMP and VCLAMP accessories (both included in this kit). With the ICLAMP, it's possible to use the DET4TCR2 to perform fall-of-potential measurements on electodes without disconnection and test leakage current to 1mA. The VCLAMP is made for stakless measurements and is an excellent solution for testing in areas where driving stakes into the ground just isn't possible.

The DET4TCR2 is the upgraded version of the standard DET4TC; the only difference between the two units is that this one comes with internal rechargeable batteries, whereas the standard model uses standard non-rechargeable batteries.
