CROWCON VORTEX FP FIXED GAS DETECTION CONTROL PANEL

Designed for when resilience matters most, the Crowcon Vortex FP Gas Detection Control Panel and Vortex FP Compact are ATEX-certified Exd Flameproof gas detector control panels, ideal for use in hazardous areas such as on offshore production platforms or refineries. Alongside all of the standard Vortex features, Vortex FPs come with a display that allows interrogation without opening the system enclosure, for enhanced durability.

Ideal for use in Zone 1 or Zone 2 hazardous areas, the Vortex FP and FP Compact are fireproof and highly durable, with a display fitted with magnetic switches which enable the system to be interrogated or inhibited without opening the system enclosure. Available in two sizes, there is a Vortex FP suitable for any space, however restrictive.

All day-to-day operations can be completed via push buttons on the front panel, removing the requirement for hit-work permits to complete everyday tasks. Instant indication of system status is provided by the fault and alarm LEDs on the front panel, with all relays monitored continuously.

Using Vortex PC software, customisation is easy and user-friendly, it uses industry-standard Modbus RTU communication links, with an option to modify this to Profibus, making it compatible with a variety of control systems.
