These analogue refractometers are specially designed for determining the brix (sugar) value of foods and other substances.

They're made for use in industrial applications for monitoring lubricants; or are also suitable for use in the food industry in determining the sugar content of beverages, fruits and sweets. Agricultural users will also find this product suitable for determining the ripeness of fruit, and it's also suitable for use in professional kitchens and restaurants.

Every Kern refractometer is made to exact calculations, ensuring an accurate result every time. All ORA models come as standard with an integrated measurement eyepiece, while some also ship with ATC (automatic temperature compensation) which helps to maintain accuracy in different ambient conditions.
