Kern's ORA-H refractometers are specifically designed for beekeeping and honey production applications.

These analogue refractometers can - depending on the version purchased - measure brix (sugar content), the water content of honey and/or degrees Baume, allowing the density of a liquid to be calculated.

Kern's analogue refractometers are robust, reliable and highly accurate. For two models in this series (ORA 3HA and ORA 6HA) accuracy is further enchanced thanks to the inclusion of automatic temperature compensation (maintains accuracy in different ambient temperature conditions).
