The SV 307A is a continuous, remote noise monitor that meets class 1 sound level metre criteria in all weather conditions. The SV 307A measures and stores noise levels, statistics, and spectra, so remote monitoring is automatic.

A GPS is used to synchronise the measurement time. It also has the ability to save triggered audio as WAV files. The measurement data is kept in a 32 GB internal memory and uploaded to the SvanNET Web Service via a 4G modem, where it can be viewed and organised as reports. The SV 307A employs a proprietary system check to continually test microphone operation and to sound an alarm if the microphone fails.
