The Planix 7 measures objects of any shape. Simply enter the scale of the diagram, and then trace the outline of the entire shape in a clockwise direction using the magnifying lens. The device calculates as you trace the object, up to 10 feet x 1 foot for horizontal/vertical. All results are accurate to more than +/-0.2 percent, can be displayed in U.S. or metric square units and are great for measuring oddly shaped swimming pools, natural bodies of water, x-rays, plots of land, and any other diagram.

The Planix 7 automatically measures to scale, but as an upgrade to the Planix 6, it allows you to input separate X and Y coordinates as well as preferred scales. It can also calculate averages and add results. And you can opt to let measurements accumulate, hold them, or reset them to zero. These features allow you to tailor input and results based on the needs of your project and enhance results.

The Planix 7 rolls smoothly across your diagram with ease. Measure any shape by gliding the transparent lens along its outline, staying as close to the line as possible. The lens magnifies the lines and the adjustable arm provides excellent range of movement. This practical tool is large enough for large maps, plans and blueprints, but small enough to be portable.

The Planix 7 operates cordlessly for a maximum of 30 hours. There is an auto shut-off feature that turns the device off after 3 minutes of non-use. It comes complete with a hard plastic carrying case, AC adapter with an internal NiCAD rechargeable battery, user guide, 1 year limited warranty.
