WaterMark Aqua Doppler Flow Probe Model 6600, 5’-15’

This flow probe utilizes the latest acoustic Doppler technology to measure water velocity in open channels such as streams and partially filled pipes. Designed for exceptional reliability, the probe features an acoustic sensor that has no moving parts which might clog with leaves or other debris. State-of-the-art digital signal processing ensures accuracy, and the probe shaft is extendable for depth measurements as the flow sensor is extended into the water. Velocity measurements are shown in your choice of feet per second or meters per second. Twin PZT ceramic ultrasonic transducers measure water flow within a 2” diameter section of flow for velocity averaging at specific points in the stream flow. The flow probe features selectable time averaging intervals from 10 seconds to 200 seconds with the USGS standard method 40 seconds as the default setting. Additional features include a backlit LCD screen and a dome button keypad.
