WaterMark Aqua Doppler Model 6800 Acoustic Doppler Current Meter

Using the latest acoustic technology, this current meter easily measures velocities in streams, rivers, and open channels. A high-speed signal processor provides flow velocities, and the meter is twice as accurate as electromagnetic flow meters. Measurement units are selectable in English or Metric as well as an ISO 748 measurement protocol. Designed for worry-free operation, the meter has no moving parts which could become clogged with leaves or debris. In addition to instantaneous display of velocity, the meter offers averaging over selectable time periods (10 seconds to 200 seconds) including the USGS 40-second measurement standard. Data can be downloaded to your PC for complete discharge calculation measurements using H20-IQ software. Other features include 4 MB of data storage, a backlit LCD screen, and a dome button keypad. The meter mounts to a USGS Top Setting Wading Rod (sold separately).
