Lignomat Ligno-DuoTec BW Moisture Meter

The Ligno-DuoTec BW features pinless, dual-depth mode – RH Thermometer mode and RH insitu concrete moisture testing – all in one meter. With the BW you can measure wood moisture and relative humidity, key factors in understanding and preventing moisture problems. Accessories are available for RH measurement and in-situ testing of moisture in concrete (ASTM F2170).

The meter has 2 independent sets of calibrations to measure 1/4″ and 3/4″ deep: for wood, engineered panels, floors and bamboos, concrete (ASTM F2659), drywall and reference scales for other building materials.

Dual-depth – a new approach to scanning :

Measures different thicknesses: over 3/4″ and less than 3/4″.
Floor testing with 1/4″ depth assures only the floor planks are measured and not the concrete or subfloor underneath.
Measuring the top layer of engineered panels and floor planks accurately with the corresponding hardwood species correction.
Compares surface / core moisture to check if boards are dried evenly.
Checks surface moisture after water damage or after applying  waterborne finishes.
