Sonel MMR-6500 Micro-Ohmmeter

The Sonel MMR-6500 Micro-Ohmmeter is a digital resistance meter capable of measuring low resistances using a stabilised current up to 100A. The non-pulsing measurement current allows the user to perform tests in difficult conditions.

The Sonel MMR-6500 Micro-Ohmmeter can measure resistance using one-way or two-way current flow.  It is equipped with a unique module which allows it to measure the resistance of inductive components with currents of up to 10A, for instance, it is able to measure the winding resistance of motors and transformers. Furthermore, using test clamps it is possible to measure high, medium- and low-voltage breakers, isolators, and components earthed on both sides. The Sonel MMR-6500 Micro-Ohmmeter is capable of measuring the resistance of the following objects:

Furthermore, the Sonel MMR-6500 Micro-Ohmmeter can measure the temperature of windings and current leakage (when used with clamps). It also features voltage drop indication and a Recording function.

Additionally, the Sonel MMR-6500 Micro-Ohmmeter features automatic temperature compensation. It is also equipped with measuring algorithms and additional functions which allow the user to select the test method most appropriate for the component-under-test and the measurement conditions, thereby expanding the Sonel MMR-6500 Micro-Ohmmeter’s scope-for-use.

Moreover, the Sonel MMR-6500 Micro-Ohmmeter includes a help system designed to guide the user through the measurement procedures. It includes drawings detailing how to use the meter.

Drawings and data are indicated on the Sonel MMR-6500 Micro-Ohmmeter’s 5-inch, coloured, touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480px. Data can be saved to the Sonel MMR-6500 Micro-Ohmmeter’s large memory

In addition to a state-of-the-art user interface, the Sonel MMR-6500 Micro-Ohmmeter supports Wi-Fi, USB and LAN interfaces enabling communication with computers, printers and 2D code readers. The user is able to manage measurements and asset IDs.

Finally, the Sonel MMR-6500 Micro-Ohmmeter has been ergonomically designed and is protected against overheating. It also features battery charge monitoring.
