The Fluke 525B/A2 Temperature & Pressure Calibrator 240V (UK) is a compact bench instrument suitable for calibrating a wide variety of temperature and pressure measurement equipment.

This instrument is able to source and measure a number of RTDs, thermocouples and thermistors, including all ANSI thermocouples and L and U thermocouple types. Furthermore, this instrument is also able to provide cold junction compensation. The Fluke 525B/A2 is the most accurate of Fluke’s temperature calibrators; it is supplied with a NIST-traceable calibration and can be used to source RTD uncertainties to 0.03°C.

As well as sourcing thermocouples, RTDs and thermistors, the Fluke 525B/A2 Temperature & Pressure Calibrator 240V (UK) can also source DC current (0-100mA) and voltage (0-100V), facilitating the calibration of data loggers, strip chart recorders, multimeters and a range of other industrial instruments.

In addition to this, the Fluke 525B/A2 Temperature & Pressure Calibrator 240V (UK) can be used to calibrate pressure instruments. When used with Fluke's 700 Series of Pressure Modules, this calibrator capable of measuring commonly used pressure ranges such as 0-1H2O (6900 Pa) and 0-10 000psi (69Mpa). The Fluke 700 Series Pressure Modules and their respective ranges are automatically identified when plugged into the Lemo connector. Moreover, this instrument is able to convert pressure measurements to the user’s desired unit via the front panel or through remote communications, allowing the user to tailor the Fluke 525B/A2 Temperature Pressure Calibrator to his/her requirements.

Adding to the adaptability of this instrument is its capacity for eight user-programmable set-points which allow the user to recall values for zero, span and linearity checks as well as create set-point dwell times for automated calibration and troubleshooting.

Another way of creating and performing automated calibration procedures is to use the Fluke 525B/A2 Temperature & Pressure Calibrator with the Fluke MET/CAL Plus Calibration Software (NOT included). This software also facilitates the user’s ability to create, edit, test and document calibration procedures in accordance with industry standards such as ISO 9000. The Fluke 525B/A2 Temperature & Pressure Calibrator can also be used with other custom automated programs that feature a standard RS-232-C and GPIB interface.

In terms of this product’s physicality, the Fluke 525B/A2 Temperature & Pressure Calibrator has been optimised to be as simple and practical to use as possible. To this end, it includes an intuitive front panel design with large keypads and a display that clearly indicates readings. This simple-to-use interface can be used to store frequently used constants in the instrument’s memory, which can be recalled in order to setup the calibrator quickly.  

Finally, the Fluke 525B/A2 Temperature & Pressure Calibrator is an accurate temperature and pressure calibrator that is also capable of sourcing and measuring DC voltage and current.
